  poire_z   "+" CD

This is the third release of this group composed of Erik M, Günter Müller and Voice Crack. On this opus, they invited to collaborate on each one of the three tracks a guest star of the impro scene, namely Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M and Christian Marclay.
As a result, the compositions are delicate mixes of computer sounds, cracked everyday objects, sine waves and turntables. I am not particularly fond of the impro scene but I especially appreciate its pure electronic version. And that record is amazing by its subtle electronic structure. The interlaced sounds shift nicely from calm segments towards louder and sometimes noisy parts. The "touch" of the invited artists on each track is globally perceptible, especially for the second track where the sine waves of mrs Sachiko M join up marvelously the entire sounds. The best piece is for me "bottle_bow", the first and more lengthy track : almost thirty minutes of an incredible travel through electronic sounds mixing together, shifting and blaring. An excellent record from the celebrated Erstwhile label.
