 Kapotte Muziek is one of the projects of the amazing Frans de Waard. On this CD released on the japanese Xerxes limited CD-R serie, all the sounds were produced using feedback coming from contact microphones. Working with feedback as unique sonore source is not a new approch, as for example the now defunct Arcane Device comprising David Myers and his "feedback machine".
Mainly composed of high frequencies and low layers, the sound reached a unique pure and raw texture. Especially when the high-pitched sounds fill your head, you can feel a dizzy and hypnotic effect as in the obsessive "Sine Wave solo" of Sachiko M. Sometimes, some hiss and crackles can be heard above these pure thrilling sound layers.
